Cutterbar
The cutterbar is fixed to a steel profile in the whole width and has an extra stiffener at the inner discs. This prevents the cutterbar from deflecting.

The SB series cutterbar comes with oval discs and round HD discs. The oval discs have heavy twisted blades so that the crop is lifted and transported away quickly. The round robust discs have combined anti-wrapping and re-inforcement rings underneath. The rings increase the life of the discs and at the same time protect the bearing so the grass cannot wrap around it. The blades are v-shaped which makes them stronger and guarantees a very long life.

Top Hat
The outer and inner discs of the mower are equipped with a high cap which prevent blockages. Between every disc the front protections of the cutterbar are shaped like a counter knife. This prevents striping

Adaption to the ground
The machines are 3-point suspended and therefore have optimum contour following - on slopes, ditch edges and dikes, with up to +/- 40º of inclination. A strong spring balances the cutterbar's ground pressure.
