Prime feature of the MYTHOS series is its compact size, essential for breeders who need to use their tractors in the stalls and outside. With a maximum length of 4,160 mm, an all-out minimum width of 1,850 mm (13.6-38" tyres) and a height of 2,720 mm (MYTHOS 100 with 34" tyres), MYTHOS is the ideal tractor range for all animal husbandry uses. Operators will find that the new cab, with its all-around visibility and low noise level, reduces stress during work. The modern heating and ventilating system plus the automatic air conditioning system allow operators to work with ease, moving inside and outside the animal housings with a clear view all round, thanks to the air blasted on to the windows and the rapid and automatic "defrosting" system. The generously sized hydraulic pump increases the versatility of MYTHOS, always quick, precise and powerful when front loaders are used to shift forage. But first and foremost, the MYTHOS range stands for PTO power. The transmission has been designed to maximize PTO efficiency to the utmost. This newly created PTO offers 4 speeds (540/540E/1000/1000E) and a second output shaft in line with the main one, proportional to the ground speed of the tractor when trailers are hitched. The externally mounted rear hydraulic clutch makes servicing operations easier.

The MYTHOS series features 4 and 6-cylinder Perkins engines that comply with EURO I standards, offer high performances in terms of power, engine torque and torque reserve (up to 25%) and which, combined with tried and tested reliability, make these tractors ideal for open field work. The modular transmissions, which reflect the LANDINI philosophy, are simple and reliable, but their main feature is the low power draw typical of mechanical transmissions. They are ideal for jobs which require ground speeds of down to 230 m/h, obtained with the Creeper.
