The new Rex cab series has been completely renovated to maintain its leading position in the orchard specialty tractor sector.
The new Rex tractors have been largely redesigned to offer a basic transmission combined with a variety of transaxle, front and rear axle solutions and different wheelbase and track dimensions. The series comes in two models designed for specific applications:
• F model: (narrow orchard) ideal for work in small-sized narrow orchards
• GT model: (large orchard) for use in standard orchards and in open field.
The new Perkins 1104D 4-cylinder engines compliant with “TIER 3” standards provide high fuel efficiency, low noise and reduced emissions. The new five-speed transmission is available in two versions: mechanical (Speed Five) and hydraulic (Power Five) with De-clutch Control and Power Shuttle.
Featuring a highly versatile hydraulic system, the new tractors are equipped with a hydraulic PTO for enhanced implement performance. The front axle provides a wide steering angle for improved tractor manoeuvrability and is equipped with integral braking system for optimum braking performance.
The tractor excellent performance and functionality are enhanced by the comfort of the “Total View” cab featuring all-glass side doors hinged onto the rear post for all-round visibility.
The air-conditioning installed on the cab roof, the new digital instrument panel and the intuitive controls arranged in ergonomic position maximize the driving comfort.
In line with the Landini family style, the hood features round headlights and rear tilting providing easy access to the engine for routine service.
The new Perkins 1104D (4-cylinder) aspirated and turbocharged engines, deliver 74 - 83 - 92,5 and 98.5 HP (ISO).
They offer high torque backup, improved fuel efficiency, low noise and reduced emissions.
The forward tilting hood provides easy access to the engine for routine service and maintenance.

The Power Five transmission (splitter gear with HI-LO electrohydraulic engagement for 20% speed reduction) enables the number of gears of the basic transmission to be doubled using the green pushbutton integrated in the gear lever (fig. D). Power Five + Speed Five (basic transmission) + Creeper + Reverse Power Shuttle for a total number of 40FWD+ 40REV speeds.
The De-clutch Control (orange pushbutton integrated in the gear lever) and the Reverse Power Shuttle (lever applied to the steering wheel), enable clutchless engagement and reversal of all gears.
The hydraulic system with double pump provides a maximum total flow of 21.6 GPM (82 l/min). The system features simple- and doubleacting auxiliary valves, including a floating one. The valves available are 2 for the F model and 3 for the GT model.
A button-operated three-position flow selector can be optionally fitted on the console to alternately activate an auxiliary valve, the right lifting rod or the top link using the lever of one of the auxiliary valves.
As an alternative, a triple pump with 3 front auxiliary valves controlled by a joystick can be fitted on request to operate front implements.
Easily accessible high-quality quick-release rear couplings ensure optimum comfort of operation and improved tractor productivity.
