Four-wheel drive – increases accessibility
The four-wheel drive is hydraulic, which is an important asset both in the summer and the winter. The stepless hydrostat gearbox enables the driver to adapt the machine's speed to each situation. Uneven lawn surfaces are not a problem, and it is easy to start on hills and slopes and improve accessibility by 100 percent. This also applies in the winter with snow-clearing and icy surfaces. The user can feel safe when backing. The driver sits in the middle above the articulated steering, enabling the machine to swing in the centre. With the front-mounted deck, the driver can see how the lawn will be cut, so that when you drive into a corner, you will also be able to come out without becoming caught or bumping into any objects. In addition to the articulated steering which is standard throughout the Stiga Park range, the machines are equipped with servo steering which by using the oil pressure in the gearbox enables the driver to effortlessly steer as soon as the machine is started. CONSTANT HYDRAULIC FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE

A hydraulic pump forces out oil to two separate drive shafts. Smart technology that offers a more even ride and better accessibility. The four-wheel drive is constantly engaged. The engine is located behind the rear axle, which gives increased weight over the rear axle. The tank is larger and has been positioned in front of the engine.
This improved weight distribution compensates for the weight of large cutting decks, and the seat height is lower. The result: a perfectly balanced machine and improved towing capacity.
