The Tomlin range of trailers have been designed and robustly manufactured for use with compact and low horsepower tractors. The trailers are ideal for use by local authorities, landscapers and nurserymen on sports fields, golf courses, parks and in glasshouses. The trailers are manufactured from good quality steel and are virtually maintenance-free.

The tipping is operated by a single acting two-stage hydraulic ram which needs a hydraulic flow system from the tractor to operate it. Once tipped the trailers reache an angle of approximately 55°.

The trailers are manufactured to the highest specification. The wheels and axles are both heavy duty and the wheels can be easily removed as on a conventional trailer for the repair of punctures etc. The chassis is manufactured on the same principal as conventional trailers using steel channel. The body is manufactured from RHS steel, with the floor and sides steel plate. All the sides and taildoor are hinged from the bottom and fastened to the top of each corner post by anti luce pins. All sides, taildoor and headboard are removable as are the corner posts. The trailer is also subject to some optional extras: 460mm steel extension sides, baffle and taildoor chute, lights and parking brake.

A parallel scissor lift ensures load is held safely until it is tipped. Can also be used as a working platform (when used in conjunction with correct safety procedures).
